Senior Procurement Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance procurement strategies, the contract Senior Procurement Specialist will develop category management plans, lead cross-functional teams, and provide analytical reports on supplier performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and performance targets
- Establish and lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements and execute supplier initiatives
- Manage strategic procurement engagement with key business units and support RFx efforts through supplier selection processes
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a Procurement/Sourcing function
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
- Experience with eSourcing tools and spend analytics tools, including proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
- Extensive negotiation and contract management experience
- Ability to lead complex sourcing events such as RFP, RFI, and RFQ
