Senior Procurement Specialist - Packaging

Job Summary

Leading the procurement of strategic packaging categories, the remote Senior Procurement Specialist - Packaging will manage a complex spend portfolio of approximately $30-$40M, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and ongoing supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies and annual sourcing plans to deliver value and support business objectives
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish contract pricing, terms, and conditions for high-value agreements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage supplier performance to enhance quality, service, and delivery

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement category management, particularly in packaging across food, pharmaceutical, or related industries
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
• Strong knowledge of procurement methodologies and supplier markets
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities effectively
