Job Summary
Creative and detail-oriented, the full-time Senior Producer will work remotely to monitor and support content development for local news markets, curate engaging news content, and oversee 24/7 content streams while collaborating with local station leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Champion current and new technologies, providing training in assigned markets
- Develop, organize, and write local news content for various stations
- Make time-sensitive editorial decisions and oversee news production workflows
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in a related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
- 6+ years of experience as a television news producer preferred
- Experience with editing software in a newsroom environment
- Avid consumer of news with a strong understanding of local news dynamics
- Ability to make independent decisions and adapt in challenging situations
