Senior Product Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Product Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will manage the translation of complex accounting requirements into software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product features for accounting professionals globally.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product engineers and designers to translate accounting standards into software requirements and test cases
• Research and resolve ambiguous accounting questions while documenting reasoning for future reference
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance and brief leadership to ensure proactive compliance

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in audit or assurance at a Big 4 firm and/or senior-level corporate accounting
• Expertise in US GAAP; knowledge of IFRS and international frameworks is preferred
• Strong proficiency in AI tools and large language models for research and documentation
• Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• CPA preferred; equivalent technical experience considered
