Senior Product Accounting Manager

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Product Accounting Manager working remotely, the successful candidate will manage complex accounting requirements, partner with product teams to translate accounting standards into software features, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting for a growing portfolio of products.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product engineers and designers to translate accounting standards into software requirements and test cases
• Research and resolve ambiguous accounting questions, documenting reasoning for future reference
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance and brief product and leadership teams proactively

Required qualifications

• Four to six years of progressive experience in audit or assurance at a Big 4 firm and/or senior-level corporate accounting
• Strong expertise in US GAAP; working knowledge of IFRS and international frameworks preferred
• Fluency in AI applications, including experience with large language models for research and documentation
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders effectively
• Strong judgment and ability to prioritize critical accounting questions and decisions
