Senior Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Product & Regulatory Counsel to provide legal, regulatory, and risk mitigation guidance throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to product and data teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Draft terms of use, product policies, and disclosures while coordinating with stakeholders
• Stay updated on relevant laws and participate in privacy and data governance programs

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in consumer financial services
• Knowledge of FCRA, UDAAP, ECOA, and consumer privacy laws
• Experience collaborating across functions such as Sales, Finance, and Technology
• Ability to make decisions under ambiguous circumstances in a fast-paced environment
