Senior Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Product Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal risk assessments for product features throughout the feature lifecycle
• Review, advise, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including complex licenses and data processing agreements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal, regulatory, and corporate matters

Required Qualifications

• JD and bar admission in good standing in at least one state in the U.S
• 5+ years of technology-related in-house legal experience with a software company
• 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Significant experience with data protection laws, open source, and AI regulation
• Experience negotiating non-standard and strategic licensing agreements
