Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Product Counsel (FinTech / Payments).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic legal partner to product and engineering teams on fintech offerings, focusing on payments and compliance
• Counsel on legal issues related to AI-assisted product discovery and machine learning features
• Advise on regulatory requirements for payment processing, flexible payment terms, and international transactions

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• 7+ years of legal experience preferred, with a focus on in-house product counseling in technology
• Substantive experience in fintech, payments, and financial regulatory matters
• Familiarity with legal issues related to AI and machine learning product features
• Experience with intellectual property matters is a plus but not required
