Senior Product Counsel

Job Summary

To support the scaling of SaaS and fintech offerings, the full-time Senior Product Counsel will partner with Product and Engineering teams, advising on regulatory and commercial legal matters while navigating complex financial products in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with Product and Engineering teams on new products, features, and changes
• Advise on product, fintech, payments, and commercial legal questions across Mews' SaaS and financial services environment
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial, product, and regulated-services agreements

Required qualifications

• Significant in-house legal experience in technology, SaaS, or fintech environments
• Strong evidence of collaboration with product teams throughout the development process
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as EMI licenses and US MTL frameworks
• Working knowledge of AML/BSA, KYC, and broader fintech regulatory issues
• Proven ability to balance legal risk with business outcomes
