Senior Product Counsel

Job Summary

Advising on AI-powered products and complex legal issues, the full-time Senior Product Counsel will partner with cross-functional teams to assess risks, shape product development, and ensure compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Advising product, engineering, and business teams on legal and regulatory requirements throughout the development cycle
• Conducting legal product reviews and maintaining compliance inventories across features and regulatory obligations
• Identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies for new products and initiatives while ensuring alignment with business objectives

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience with admission to a state bar or equivalent practical experience
• In-house product counsel experience from a technology company, particularly in SaaS, AI/ML, or communication platforms
• Knowledge of privacy and data protection, artificial intelligence, security, and consumer protection legal frameworks
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
• Experience negotiating vendor, partnership, and AI/ML data agreements with stakeholders across global time zones
