Senior Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Product Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to product, operations, design, and engineering teams
• Manage complex legal issues related to privacy, data use, consumer protection, competition, and other global laws
• Draft and implement legal documents, policies, and processes to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 9-12 years of relevant experience
• 3-5 years of in-house experience at a multinational, consumer-facing technology company in a product counseling capacity
• Knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines related to consumer protection, online advertising, privacy, and internet platforms
• Barred in a US state, preferably California, or eligible to register as California Registered In-House Counsel
• A solid working knowledge of the company's platform, evolving product lines, and competitive landscape
