Senior Product Counsel - Fintech

Job Summary

Partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams, the full-time Senior Product Counsel - Fintech will provide legal guidance on SaaS and fintech products, focusing on regulatory compliance and commercial agreements in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise product teams on legal, regulatory, and commercial issues throughout the product lifecycle
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial and regulatory agreements
• Support compliance with financial regulations and navigate audits related to fintech products

Required qualifications

• Significant in-house legal experience in technology, SaaS, or fintech environments
• Strong familiarity with fintech regulations, including AML/BSA, KYC, and licensing structures
• Proven experience working directly with product teams during the development process
• Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with business outcomes
• Comfort operating in ambiguous situations and providing practical legal guidance
