Senior Product Designer

Job Summary

To define and design a next-generation AI-powered experience within Mercury's accounting ecosystem, the full-time Senior Product Designer will shape AI capabilities across financial workflows, translating technical complexities into intuitive user experiences, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the integration of AI-powered capabilities within complex financial workflows
• Translate emerging technical capabilities into human-centered, intuitive experiences
• Design scalable interaction patterns and prototype new interaction models for AI-assisted experiences

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience leading complex, end-to-end product design initiatives
• Experience designing fintech, AI-powered, data-heavy, or workflow-driven products
• Strong understanding of systems and workflows beyond individual screens
• Ability to prototype fluidly to explore interaction logic and product craft
• Demonstrated product judgment and ownership in high-stakes domains
