Senior Product Designer

Job Summary

Leading the design for Point of Sale experiences, the full-time Senior Product Designer will work remotely to shape restaurant technology by driving design direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring usability and speed in high-pressure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for Point of Sale experiences, influencing design from discovery to execution
• Define operational workflows for order taking, payments, and table management across various platforms
• Mentor team members and contribute to the evolution of the Toast design system

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design with a focus on strategy and design direction
• Proven track record of driving measurable design impact and influencing cross-functional teams
• Strong visual design skills and experience with AI-first design approaches
• Ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail in complex systems
• Experience mentoring and developing other designers to elevate team performance
