Senior Product Designer

Job Summary

Leading human-centered design efforts for a large-scale federal healthcare modernization initiative, the full-time remote Senior Product Designer will serve as the design lead within a product team, integrating design thinking into the software development lifecycle while collaborating with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary UX design lead within a product team, integrating design and usability considerations into Agile development processes
• Lead discovery and research activities to understand user needs and translate insights into actionable design solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in design practices and contribute to the evolution of human-centered design capabilities

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or human-centered design
• Demonstrated ability to lead both research and design activities across the product lifecycle
• Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with product and engineering teams
• Strong expertise in interaction design and information architecture
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma and collaboration tools like Miro or FigJam
