Senior Product Designer

Job Summary

Experienced product designers will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Product Designer, focusing on defining and owning the visual and interaction language for the design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the visual design direction, including color, typography, and motion for the design system
• Design and maintain page templates and layout patterns to provide a consistent starting point for designers
• Run office hours and engage in critiques to enable the design team and ensure effective use of the design system

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience, with significant involvement in owning a design system at scale
• Exceptional modern visual design craft with a strong portfolio showcasing type, color, spacing, and motion
• Detail-oriented approach to systems work, with knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience enabling design teams through documentation and direct coaching
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with engineering on implementation tradeoffs
