Job Summary
Driving design innovation, the full-time Senior Staff Product Designer will assess product surfaces, modernize developer experiences, and establish design standards in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Assess Apollo's product surfaces end to end, identifying high-leverage design opportunities and driving execution
- Lead the modernization of core developer experiences, transforming disconnected features into coherent user journeys
- Collaborate with engineering teams as a peer, advocating for design initiatives and ensuring alignment on project goals
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience designing software, with a portfolio of shipped work
- Experience in designing technically complex products for technical users, such as developer tools or APIs
- Proven ability to identify high-leverage problems and design end-to-end solutions
- Strong visual design and craft skills
- Ability to operate independently and transform ambiguous problems into cohesive visions
