Job Summary
Leading the design of high-impact product experiences, the full-time Senior Product Designer will work remotely to create engaging UI designs for key features across Chess.com's web, iOS, and Android platforms while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for product experiences, delivering polished UI designs
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to clarify requirements and influence design direction
- Identify opportunities for improving consistency and usability across features and the broader design system
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer on consumer-facing products or games
- Portfolio showcasing polished web and mobile UI design work with strong product thinking
- Mastery of UI design fundamentals and experience with design tools like Cursor and Claude
- Proven ability to influence product and design decisions and navigate cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with frontend development and design implementation across web and mobile platforms
