Senior Product Engineer

Job Summary

Building core product surfaces for developers, the full-time Senior Product Engineer will design, implement, and ship features primarily on the web and in the CLI, engaging directly with users to enhance their experience with LiveKit's platform in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship core product surfaces end to end, focusing on user experience and developer needs
• Design and implement features that enhance the usability and power of LiveKit for developers
• Engage with developers and customers to gather feedback and iterate on product features based on real usage

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience with a focus on shipping product end-to-end
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript and familiarity with modern web frameworks; comfort with Go is a plus
• Proven track record of building user-facing software that has been adopted by developers or technical users
• Strong product sense, balancing user experience and technical implementation
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and frame vague problems into actionable solutions
