Senior Product Engineer

Job Summary

Leading critical projects in checkout, order management, and tax management, the full-time Senior Product Engineer will work in a hybrid environment to enhance the booking experience for travelers and organizers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead booking projects from discovery through to incident response, ensuring reliability and performance of booking systems
• Collaborate with the Product team to design booking experiences that address user challenges and improve conversion rates
• Architect and build robust, scalable systems for managing reservations and compliance with tax regulations across jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of product engineering experience, with at least 4 years in e-commerce or order management systems
• Proven track record in high-scale consumer platforms, particularly in checkout and order flows
• Strong backend expertise in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, or similar languages, with full-stack capabilities in React
• Experience in architecting resilient distributed systems and handling production-level incident response
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern CI/CD practices
