Senior Product Manager

Job Summary

Empowering developers and operators, the full-time Senior Product Manager will drive the vision and strategy for Confluent's API platform, focusing on automation and AI readiness while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collect customer feedback and analyze data to define user journeys for developers, operators, and data scientists
• Drive the API Platform Strategy & Roadmap to simplify experiences across all Confluent products with AI integration
• Govern API/CLI/TF interfaces to ensure consistent experiences and facilitate rapid product team movement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a product owner or product manager on developer-focused products
• Deep understanding of API/CLI/TF interfaces and their interactions with developers
• Experience in making infrastructure products AI-ready
• Background in building enterprise-grade products as an engineer, product manager, or solutions architect
• Exceptional written and presentation skills to communicate product vision effectively
