Senior Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning the shared foundation that enables other software to interact with Firefox, the full-time Senior Product Manager will drive the strategy and execution of a secure and reliable connection for internal teams and external tools in a remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the shared foundation and ensure the reliability and security of the building blocks provided to other software
• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) and develop unique advantages for Firefox
• Design safety controls that allow users to approve actions and maintain control over software interactions

Required qualifications

• Experience as a product-minded engineer or a highly technical product manager
• Background in developer space with an understanding of both consumer and internal platforms
• Ability to set strategy in ambiguous situations and manage a technical contract relied upon by other teams
• Strong instincts regarding security and trust, with knowledge of web standards and browser automation preferred
