Senior Product Manager, Lending

Job Summary

Owning the vision and strategy for Mercury's business lending product suite, the full-time Senior Product Manager, Lending will drive the end-to-end customer journey, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a transparent and efficient lending experience, while working remotely within the U.S. or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the product roadmap for the business lending suite, ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with risk and data science to design effective underwriting and decisioning processes that balance speed and compliance
• Utilize customer insights and market research to prioritize product features and enhancements based on measurable outcomes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years in lending or regulated financial domains
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling lending businesses
• Strong understanding of the lending lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, servicing, and repayment
• Proven ability to develop and iterate on customer-facing products that address real user problems
• Technical fluency to effectively collaborate with engineers and data scientists while communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
