Senior Product Manager - Risk Management

Job Summary

Leading the vision and strategy for catastrophe and risk products, the full-time Senior Product Manager - Risk Management will develop high-resolution hazard solutions and collaborate with scientists to create actionable insurance metrics, while ensuring regulatory compliance and engaging with industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for catastrophe and risk modeling solutions
• Collaborate with scientists to translate complex data into insurance metrics such as Average Annual Loss (AAL) and Probable Maximum Loss (PML)
• Engage with Chief Underwriting Officers to understand the application of risk scores in underwriting and portfolio management

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in InsurTech, Fintech, or Geospatial Data
• Knowledge of risk modeling applications and insurance product lines
• Familiarity with GIS and catastrophe modeling software
• Understanding of insurance-specific metrics and regulatory environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Environmental Science, Data Science, Economics, or Engineering
