Senior Product Manager, Trading

Job Summary

Senior Product Manager, Trading, is a full-time role focused on developing a core trading surface for a DeFi L1 blockchain with an on-chain orderbook exchange, requiring deep experience in product management at trading venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and v1 specification for core trading surfaces, including order types and margining
• Act as the primary product interface to market makers and high-volume traders, translating their input into specifications
• Drive the listings pipeline end-to-end, defining market parameters and coordinating with engineering and risk teams for launches

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years at an orderbook trading venue
• Strong understanding of trading vocabulary and operational mechanics of perpetual markets
• Proven ability to ship products in ambiguous environments and define product surfaces independently
• Technical fluency to communicate effectively with engineers and understand underlying systems
• Japanese language proficiency is preferred but not required
