Senior Product Manager, Utilities

Job Summary

To lead the development of a new line of business, the full-time Senior Product Manager, Utilities will manage customer research, product design, and business strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer insight initiatives to advocate for user experiences and needs within Vibrant Planet applications
• Develop and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with design, science, and engineering teams
• Create business cases for new product initiatives, articulating strategic differentiators and supporting sales and marketing efforts

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, particularly with complex B2B or B2G products
• Proven track record in leading customer discovery and translating insights into product decisions
• Experience with zero-to-one product development, including business model definition and pricing strategies
• Strong background in electric utilities, meteorology, or fire modeling; experience with geospatial products is preferred
• STEM education or equivalent experience, with comfort in data and statistics
