Senior Product Owner - Accounting

Job Summary

To support the development of CustomBooks software, the full-time Senior Product Owner - Accounting will manage product features, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a 100% remote contract-to-permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage existing product features and assist in timely new project deliverables in the annual product roadmap
• Define requirements, specifications, and design for new features, improvements, and bugs
• Conduct internal and external training sessions/demos, write Knowledgebase Articles, and Release Notes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of related work experience
• Experience/knowledge of business operations/workflows and inventory
• Project Management skills/experience required, with a focus on meeting deadlines and driving results
• Strong technical background with an understanding of software development and web/mobile technologies
• Software as a Service (SAAS) product experience is strongly preferred
