Senior Product Owner - Disability Claims

Job Summary

As a Senior Product Owner - Disability Claims, the full-time remote position will drive product strategy, lead Agile delivery, and build strong partnerships to connect business strategy with technology execution in the evolving insurance landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to create a product roadmap that addresses customer challenges and balances immediate needs with long-term goals
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria for successful Agile delivery
• Act as the primary liaison between customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to validate functionality and enhance customer experiences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in Product Management within Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience in insurance technology or enterprise software with a strong understanding of complex business processes
• Proficiency in managing product backlogs and prioritizing based on customer value and technical feasibility
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data and customer feedback to inform product decisions
