Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer - Product Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between product development teams and information security teams, embedding into product planning sessions
• Lead application vulnerability reviews and mentor developers in secure coding practices and threat modeling
• Drive the implementation of security tooling and develop metrics to measure product security impact

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in application security or DevSecOps
• Strong knowledge of secure development practices and secure SDLC
• Experience with securing AWS services and application security in cloud environments
• Thorough understanding of web protocols and common application vulnerabilities
• Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members in security concepts and practices
