Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

To protect the Security Cloud from advanced threats, the full-time Senior Product Security Engineer will serve as a network security subject matter expert, focusing on identifying security gaps and architecting scalable network solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of hybrid networks, assessing security gaps and designing secure connection patterns
• Lead complex, cross-team security initiatives and contribute to the strategic direction for network security across the product group
• Partner with product engineering and infrastructure teams to translate scaling requirements into secure network architectures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Deep networking expertise in hybrid environments, including public cloud and physical data center networking
• Strong protocol knowledge, including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and applied cryptography
• Experience in designing scalable, secure connection patterns in SaaS or cloud-native environments
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go, shell, or equivalent languages
