Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the Product Security strategy, the full-time Senior Product Security Engineer will lead secure design initiatives, conduct security architecture reviews, and establish best practices for AI-enabled features while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product and business risks into actionable security programs with measurable success metrics
• Lead Secure-by-Design initiatives by embedding security requirements early in product design and defining secure design patterns
• Conduct threat modeling, secure code reviews, and application penetration testing to reduce systemic risks across products

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security, particularly with cloud-based technologies and Product Security frameworks like OWASP and CIS Benchmarks
• Proven ability to establish security controls for AI-enabled features, including data handling and model access
• Hands-on experience in AI product development security, collaborating with engineering on model evaluation and training
• Experience leading threat modeling and secure code reviews for complex security issues
• Technical expertise in defining and scaling secure design patterns and security guardrails across multiple teams
