Job Summary

To enhance the Firefox add-ons ecosystem, the full-time Senior Product Security Engineer will deliver major features and architectural improvements, create robust observability systems, and ensure platform reliability while working remotely from Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver major features and architectural improvements across the Add-ons stack, including automated moderation pipelines and Reviewer tools
• Create robust observability systems and provide data-backed insights to improve platform reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting users and developers, ensuring a safe and trustworthy platform

Required qualifications

• Experience building modern web applications
• Strong experience with Python/Django or similar backend frameworks
• Understanding of web security principles and practices
• Strong collaboration skills in a distributed team environment
• Adept at navigating ambiguity and exploring solutions in new problem spaces
