Senior Product Security Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own core pieces of the security program, finding and fixing vulnerabilities in the product and building tooling to prevent them
- Design and build application frameworks and services to improve the security of the cloud-based microservice application stack
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to provide security expertise and drive compliance initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in secure software development, preferably with proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or JVM
- Experience with finding, triaging, and fixing web application vulnerabilities, covering at least the OWASP Top 10
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey security concerns to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for security and building resilient systems
