Senior Production Support Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the stability of cloud-based enterprise applications, the full-time remote Senior Production Support Engineer will lead the resolution of production incidents, drive automation initiatives, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex production incidents and serve as the escalation point for support engineers
- Analyze system performance to identify improvements in application reliability, scalability, and observability
- Drive the development of monitoring and automation tools to streamline incident response and enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in production support, site reliability engineering (SRE), or DevOps roles
- Deep expertise in C# and .NET technologies, with strong database experience in T-SQL and SQL Server
- Advanced knowledge of Azure services related to app hosting, monitoring, and databases
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks
