Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Senior Program Analyst will analyze and evaluate suicide prevention programs, drive rapid-cycle improvements, and translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations for enhancing Veterans' well-being.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and evaluation of suicide prevention program effectiveness, developing actionable improvement recommendations aligned with VA OSP strategic priorities
- Design and execute program reviews and performance assessments to measure success metrics and support sprint-based improvement cycles
- Develop comprehensive program reports and briefings to communicate findings and recommendations to VA leadership and federal stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in program analysis, evaluation, or healthcare program management, focusing on large-scale integrated health care systems
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Prior experience with VA, VHA, or other federal health agency programs, with familiarity in Veterans health care delivery
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA PIV credential and complete required background investigation for access to VA systems
- Proficiency in developing program evaluation frameworks and executive-level briefings for federal government clients
