Senior Program Manager

Job Summary

Senior Program Manager, responsible for leading the Healthcare Engineering and Facilities Program for the Department of Veterans Affairs, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance in a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce work standards across assigned HEFP portfolio program areas, ensuring consistent delivery
• Supervise and mentor contractor personnel, aligning teams with contract requirements and performance expectations
• Present program status and recommendations to VA leadership, facilitating communication and risk management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of program management experience with a BS degree, or 10 years with an MS degree, or 5 years of VA-specific experience combined with 10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in a relevant medical, engineering, or science discipline required; Master of Science (MS) preferred
• Experience within the VA, VHA, or a comparable federal healthcare agency, with knowledge of VHA capital planning and facilities engineering
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential and pass a VA background investigation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with business intelligence/analytic tools for program performance management
