Senior Program Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Program Manager will collaborate with state education department leadership to develop project scopes, manage risks, and ensure successful project implementation while mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document project scope, goals, deliverables, and plans in collaboration with stakeholders
• Anticipate risks and create mitigation strategies while managing subcontractors and vendors
• Conduct project post-implementation meetings to evaluate success and implement lessons learned

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Program Management or a related role
• Experience working with senior-level clients, government stakeholders, and educators
• Experience in large-scale assessment or educational software preferred
• PMP certification highly preferred
