Job Summary
Leading complex public health programs, the full-time Senior Program Officer, Georgia will manage multiple interrelated projects focused on advancing maternal and neonatal health in sub-Saharan Africa and informing drowning prevention strategies in the U.S., while working in a hybrid environment based in Atlanta, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the coordinated management of time-bound projects to enhance program implementation and public health practices
- Formulates program-related goals, objectives, and strategic plans ensuring alignment with organizational standards
- Builds strong partnerships and provides strategic expertise for effective program implementation
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in public health or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 years of public health experience, with a preference for expertise in tobacco control or injury prevention
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems for program management and budgeting
- Proficiency in managing public-private partnerships and collaborations
- Strong technical skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management
