Senior Programmer

Job Summary

Supporting the VA Specialty Care Program Office, the full-time remote Senior Programmer will design, develop, implement, and enhance enterprise applications and financial management solutions while focusing on budget application modernization and workflow automation using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications supporting SCPO programs and initiatives
• Convert legacy Excel-based budget management tools into Power Platform solutions and develop workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Implement application integrations with authorized VA systems and ensure compliance with VA architecture and cybersecurity standards

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of application development experience
• Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL/Relational Databases
• Experience developing enterprise financial, budgeting, or workflow applications
• Knowledge of application architecture, systems integration, and software development methodologies
• U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain a Federal security clearance/NACI background investigation
