Senior Programmer
Job Summary
To support the Customer Experience team, the full-time Senior Programmer will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within Sharetec's legacy Progress ABL codebase and related infrastructure while working remotely from anywhere in the United States, except California.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within the legacy Progress ABL codebase
- Break down large, complex problems into manageable components to identify root causes
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability and support teammates as needed
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience or certification
- Experience in Progress ABL, SQL, or a similar programming language
- Ability to work with legacy code bases and non-traditional program structures
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues in fast-paced environments
- A self-driven and adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
