Senior Project Accountant

Job Summary

To oversee project financials, the full-time salaried Senior Project Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with project teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead project accounting team members while mentoring for professional growth
• Prepare financial reports, owner draws, and ensure subcontractor compliance
• Assist with strategic planning and cash management for project financials

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or CCIFP certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar)
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent listening and communication skills
