Senior Project Controls Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting capex controllership in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Project Controls Analyst will manage the annual capital budgeting process, analyze CAPEX variances, and serve as a finance partner to various teams within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual capital budgeting process and maintain detailed project-level forecasts for capital expenditures
• Analyze actual CAPEX versus budget and forecast, identifying variances and communicating key drivers to stakeholders
• Deliver monthly CAPEX reporting with clear variance narratives for leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A
• Experience in a capital-intensive environment, such as data centers or construction
• Advanced Excel skills for handling reconciliations and high-volume transaction data
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects through completion
