Senior Project Controls Manager

Job Summary

Providing enterprise-level leadership, the full-time Senior Project Controls Manager will oversee project controls strategy, governance, and performance across a portfolio of utility-scale energy projects, while serving as a key advisor to executive leadership on financial forecasting and project delivery risks in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the strategic direction for project controls, including governance frameworks and performance standards
• Oversee and optimize project controls functions, including cost management, scheduling, and risk analysis across a multi-project portfolio
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights into portfolio performance and financial exposure

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, finance, accounting, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project scheduling, project cost, or project management duties
• Professional Level certification through AACE preferred (e.g., Certified Cost Professional, Planning & Scheduling Professional)
• Expert experience with Primavera P6, Procore, Netsuite, and/or Microsoft Project
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, with strong Excel skills
