Senior Project Controls Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support program management through financial planning and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, track costs, and analyze financial data to ensure projects remain within budget
• Generate reports and prepare financial deliverables, including forecasting and risk management
• Assist project managers with specialized reports and manage sub-contractor invoicing cycles

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Typically 5+ years of related work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
• Experience with various contract types, such as firm-fixed-price and cost-plus contracts, is desired
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
