Senior Project Engineer
Job Summary
To support the growth of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, the full-time Senior Project Engineer will provide advanced performance analysis, design expertise, and technical due diligence while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend equipment and design specifications for projects, collaborating with Procurement partners
- Lead development of in-house energy modeling, provide guidance on best practices, and conduct Independent Engineer due diligence
- Provide technical review and risk assessment for key contracts, ensuring alignment with engineering design guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in photovoltaic and/or energy storage engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company-specific software
- Expertise in advanced energy modeling methodologies and technical specifications of equipment
- Strong project management skills, including coordinating complex projects and mitigating risks
