Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee small to medium IT projects with high impact and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects to meet customer expectations while managing contracts and resolving scope, budget, and schedule issues
• Develop and manage project lifecycle documents, including project plans and status reports, while coordinating activities of internal and external technical staff
• Provide routine status updates to stakeholders and contribute to the development of project management standards and best practices

Required Qualifications and Education

• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a professional services or IT organization
• A bachelor's degree is highly preferred; a business degree is a plus
• PMP certification is preferred; familiarity with Agile/Scrum is a plus
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructures and technologies is preferred
• Experience with IT management tools such as Service Now or Open Air/NetSuite is a plus
