Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading delivery teams in a remote environment, the full-time Senior Project Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of software development projects for Federal Government contracts, ensuring successful execution through Agile methodologies and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and guide projects through all required agency SDLC phase gates and artifacts
• Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, and staffing plans according to customer requirements
• Provide leadership in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective communication across various teams and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience, including Estimation, Scope Management, and Risk Management
• At least 5 years of experience leading application development and modernization projects
• Experience managing both on-prem and cloud application development
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methods and experience managing a fully Agile team
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred; PMP certification also preferred
