Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Managing and delivering multiple concurrent IT projects remotely, the full-time Senior Project Manager will ensure alignment with business objectives, develop comprehensive project plans, and lead high-performing project teams while maintaining effective communication across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, resource allocation, and risk management
• Facilitate communication among departments, resolve roadblocks, and provide regular updates to executive stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS, CIS, or Business Administration with at least 3 years of project management experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT or business, preferably in the P&C Insurance industry
• Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and traditional Waterfall project management
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira
• Completed PMP, Agile, Scrum, or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable
