Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Supporting high complexity global R&D programs, the full-time Senior Project Manager will manage cross-functional teams, maintain program timelines, and oversee project budgets in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Team Leader and Director of Project Management to support cross-functional matrix teams and manage select sub-teams
• Develop and maintain detailed program Gantt charts, incorporating dependencies and providing summary views for team and executive reviews
• Identify and manage interdependencies and critical path activities to support program-level scenario planning and risk management strategies

Required qualifications

• BS degree with 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech R&D environment, including 3+ years in project management or equivalent
• Proven expertise in drug development and registration, including clinical, nonclinical, CMC development, and regulatory submissions globally
• Strong analytical skills and experience in facilitating team decision-making using decision analysis methodologies
• Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices, with a preference for PMP certification and proficiency in project management software like Smartsheet
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized self-starter with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
