Senior Project Manager
Job Summary
To support a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs program focused on suicide prevention and mental health, the full-time Senior Project Manager will lead technical projects and workstreams, translating client needs into actionable requirements while coordinating multidisciplinary teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned technical projects from requirements through implementation
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between VA stakeholders, program leadership, and technical delivery teams
- Lead delivery using Agile methodologies, managing work in tools like Jira and Azure DevOps while ensuring visibility into project status and risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, data analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management or related disciplines, with a focus on technology consulting and digital delivery
- Demonstrated experience independently owning technical projects through the full delivery lifecycle
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Technical familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or data analytics solutions
